The FMSS maintains an active role in student advocacy, ensuring all its members are represented in an appropriate manner. It facilitates an avenue for the student body to voice any concerns or opinions which may affect their life as a medical student. Furthermore, it allows the FMSS to work with other like-minded organisations to ensure issues are dealt with on a local and national level.
We have representative who sit on various committees including:
- Course Cirriculum Committees
- Australia Medical Association – South Australia (AMA(SA))
- South Australian Institute of Medical Education and Training (SA IMET)
- Australian Medical Students’ Association (AMSA)
